The 2024 FIBA Women's European Championship for Small Countries, will be held on June 25-30, 2024, at the Palace of Youth and Sports in Prishtina. "Dardanian" girls are preparing with the highest intensity for this championship, where the aim is to represent the country as dignified as possible.

Eight countries will participate in this year's competition: Cyprus, Malta, Kosovo, Georgia, Norway, Albania, Andorra and Armenia.

The president of the Kosovo Basketball Federation (KBF), Arben Fetahu, told KosovaPress that the age of the players is young, the result is not primary in this championship.

The newly appointed head coach of Kosovo, the Croatian Viktor Kovac, said that the team will miss basketball players Saranda Daci and Zërina Shatri due to injuries, and this will cause problems for his team.

But the basketball player, Malvina Haziri, expressed her conviction for success in this championship, asking for the greatest support from the public during the matches.

Coach Kovac and the chairman of KBF, Arben Fetahu, have also asked for public support, as this is the first time a basketball championship of this level is organized in Kosovo. /A.Bytyçi/
