Foreign policy during the term of the Kurti Government is considered passive and sleepy. The dismissal of ambassadors, the moratorium, the local elections, and the dialogue with Serbia are seen as among the reasons of inactivity for lobbying for new recognitions, membership in international organizations, and visa liberalization. Experts in international relations call on institutional leaders to have a clearer vision and greater dynamism to advance the country's foreign policy.
