The counting of votes sent from the diaspora is expected to begin on Wednesday. Meanwhile, as of today at 12:00, 890 final lists of voters out of a total of 2,533 have been scanned.

This was announced at the next meeting of the Central Election Commission.

The Director of the Office for Registration, Certification and Financial Control of Political Parties, Besnik Buzhala, said that about 730 envelopes with ballots have not been assessed at all because the scanning of the final lists is expected at the diplomatic mission.

Buzhala emphasized that the ballot boxes containing the envelopes with ballots by mail are expected to be transported to the Results Counting Center today at around 15:00 under the escort of the Kosovo Police.

Meanwhile, CEC member from the Democratic Party of Kosovo, Ilir Gashi, requested the establishment of a commission that would deal with the investigation of irregularities with ballot boxes in Gjakova and Mitrovica and other issues.
