According to data from the National Institute of Public Health of Kosovo, the total the number of active cases is 335, whereas the total number of recovered is 157,763. At the last meeting of the Committee for coordination and assessment of the pandemic situation, it was concluded that the pandemic situation in countries in the region, Europe and beyond has deteriorated in recent weeks, and despite the fact that in Kosovo the number of COVID-cases 19 is small in recent weeks, the situation is unstable, especially given the fact that there are currently two variants (the Delta variant that is still dominant and the Delta Plus variant), while the first information says that the other variant of SARS - COV-2, Omicron, is characterized by many mutations, rapid spread, and there isn’t  much information about its resistance to vaccines.
