Kosovar duo Dhuratë Sylejmani / Valmira Ramadani, led by coach Edon Ibrahimi, has managed to write the history of Kosovo in the Balkan Beach Volleyball Championship, becoming the first senior team to win medals in this competition, which took place in Balikesir of Turkey. In the final, the Kosovo team was defeated by the duo from Turkey 1, Gokalp / Merve with a score of 2-0 in sets. Kosovo thus secures second place and a silver medal in the Balkan Beach Volleyball Championship for seniors for the first time in history. Along the way to the final, the Kosovar couple recorded four wins and two losses to secure the epithet of Balkan runner-up.
