The Central Election Commission (CEC) announced that by 7:00 PM, according to preliminary results collected from more than 98 percent of polling stations, voter turnout reached 712,148 voters, or 36.33 percent.
CEC Chair Kreshnik Radoniqi said that in the Kosovo Assembly elections held on December 28, 2025, a total of 899,517 citizens had voted by the same time, representing 44.99 percent of the electorate.
“Based on the preliminary data we have received from more than 98% of polling stations, the number of eligible voters who had voted by 7:00 PM is 712,148, or 36.33% of the 1,959,962 registered voters. By the same time in the Kosovo Assembly elections held on December 28, 2025, 899,517 voters, or 44.99% of the 1,999,204 registered voters, had cast their ballots,” Radoniqi stated.
The CEC chair announced that in most polling stations the counting of ballots for political entities has already begun, calling on polling station commissioners to strictly adhere to legal procedures and electoral rules.Meanwhile, the CEC announced that the 48-hour deadline for filing complaints with the Election Complaints and Appeals Panel (ECAP) regarding today’s voting process came into effect at 7:00 PM.
According to the CEC, the time for publishing the consolidated preliminary results of political entities will be announced later through an official statement by the institution’s spokesperson.
