Istref Elezaj, an international referee from Kosovo, has continued to represent Kosovo’s refereeing at the highest levels of European volleyball. He was part of another important match in the European cups, officiating the men’s Challenge Cup semifinal.

In the clash between Altekma SK Izmir and Allianz Milano, Elezaj served as the second referee. The match ended with a 1-3 victory for the Italian squad, which secured their place in the final of this competition.

The game was conducted using the Challenge System, a technology employed at the highest levels of European volleyball to review refereeing decisions. Even the final point of the match was decided through this system, making the encounter particularly notable from a refereeing perspective.

Elezaj received very high marks from the match delegates for his performance in this game, continuing his series of important assignments in European competitions.

This is another testament to the trust that European volleyball authorities place in the Kosovar referee, as a key match in the final phase of this competition was entrusted specifically to the referee from Kosovo.
