The situation created as a result of the floods is being considered difficult to repair. Although the damages have not yet been assessed, in households, businesses and the economy, they are considered to be great. Meanwhile, the institutions are being criticized for not handling disasters properly in the phase before they occur. Head of International Relations and Public Relations at the Emergency Management Agency, Nehat Koqinaj for KosovaPress says that Kosovo has recently faced an alarming situation, but that is currently beginning to calm down.
