The Speaker of the Assembly of Kosovo, Glauk Konjufca, has said that the European Union wants to take over the competences from Kosovo for drafting the draft statute of the Association of municipalities with a Serbian majority. The Speaker emphasized that he supports the idea that the draft Association proposed by the European Union be sent to the Venice Commission, an idea presented by Prime Minister Albin Kurti.

Konjufca said that they are ready to discuss with the EU when the draft of the Association should be ready, but that its drafting should be done by the Kosovo authorities.

Speaking about the relations between Prime Minister Albin Kurti and President Vjosa Osmani, the Speaker said that there is nothing dramatic in the relations between them and that the relations are good.

He added that the institutional leaders may have differences in positions on various issues, but when they appear before the international community, they are of the same position.

As for the audio-recording, where the head of the VV parliamentary group, Mimoza Kusari-Lila, is heard talking to the terrorist, Milan Radojicic, the Speaker said that there is no doubt that she has committed some kind of national treason, but he has called her action carelessness.

He expressed his shock and surprise that even after nine months from the attack in Banjska, "there is still no action by justice for Milan Radojicic”.

Konjufca made these comments after the meeting of the Presidency of the Assembly on Thursday. /KosovaPresss/
