Konjufca: The dialogue is at a dead end, after Banjska the minimum of trust has been lost
The Speaker of the Assembly of Kosovo, Glauk Konjufca, has said that the dialogue with Serbia is at a dead end from which there is not much way out. According to him, after the act of aggression of Serbia in Banjska of Zvecan last year, the minimum of trust that is required in the dialogue process for the normalization of relations has been destroyed. He also accused the international community that, according to him, they are being one-sided in this process.
Konjufca, after the meeting of the Presidency of the Assembly, said that the Western allies should be clear about what they want in the dialogue.
He underlined that Kosovo is ready for dialogue, but only if it is treated by the EU and its allies as an equal state with Serbia.
The Speaker also asked the international community to take action in accordance with the findings after the act of aggression of Serbia on September 24, 2023 in Banjska.
Speaking about the Berlin Process and the criticism of the emissary of Germany, Manuel Sarrazin, towards Kosovo, he said that he is not being objective and that there was no understanding of the security measures that Kosovo has imposed on Serbian goods.
According to him, despite the criticism, Kosovo will not remove security measures against Serbian goods.
On the other hand, Konjufca said that he coordinates with the institutional leaders of Kosovo in terms of foreign policy. He said that there are small differences in terms of the approach that should be used, but in no way, as he said, in terms of content. /KosovaPress/
