The Speaker of the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo, Glauk Konjufca receives today in a meeting the new Ambassador of the United States of America in Kosovo, Jeffrey M. Hovenier.  According to the communiqué sent by the Assembly of Kosovo, it is said that Konjufca "highly praised the unwavering friendship and exemplary partnership with the United States of America, noting that the future of the Republic of Kosovo is in the EU, NATO and other international organizations". The Speaker of Parliament reportedly thanked Ambassador Hovenier for the continuous support and comprehensive support of the United States of America to Kosovo, expressing gratitude for the donation of over half a million Pfizer vaccines against the coronavirus. "In a cordial and very friendly meeting, Konjufca and Ambassador Hovenier expressed their commitment to further strengthen bilateral relations, coordinate objectives and deepen cooperation between our countries," the statement concluded.
