The Vetëvendosje Movement’s nominee for Prime Minister of Kosovo, Glauk Konjufca, said that the public expects party leader and acting Prime Minister Albin Kurti to return even stronger in the next elections, following his failure to form a new government.

Speaking to members of the LVV General Council after being proposed as prime minister, he said he accepted the proposal as a duty to run for prime minister in order to approve next year’s budget.

“A government without Albin Kurti is the biggest compromise that Vetëvendosje could make,” he said.

During the presentation of Konjufca as prime minister, Kurti stated that in the next government cabinet, if the votes in the Assembly are secured, he will take the position of Minister of Foreign Affairs. /KosovaPress
