Koci: There are many other people involved in the Banjska attack

Arianit Koci, the lawyer of the family of sergeant Afrim Bunjaku, said that there is information that many other people are involved in the case of the terrorist attack in Banjska, while adding that there is a possibility of filing a new indictment or the current one will be expanded to this case.

The lawyer Koci made these comments after the end of the initial review session for the case of the terrorist attack in Banjska, in which case the three accused pleaded not guilty to the offenses charged by the indictment.

Expressing optimism that the request of the Basic Court for the legal opinion will be treated by the Supreme Court as a priority, the lawyer of the family of the murdered sergeant, Afrim Bunjaku, said that Serbia will hand over the other accused that are involved and are on the run.

Ljubomir Pantoviq, the lawyer of the accused Blagoje Spasojevic said that he does not want to emphasize the reasons why the accused Spasojevic and Toliq chose not to plead guilty today.

Meanwhile, Vladimir Toliq's lawyer, Milos Deleviq, said that they cannot accept this indictment.

Jovana Filipoviq, lawyer of the accused, Dushan Maksimoviq, said that they will present a request to drop the indictment and challenge the evidence.

The last hearing on September 25 was postponed after the defense of the accused had failed to prepare.

Whereas, in the last session, the trial panel decided to separate the case for trial against the three accused Blagoje Spasojevic, Vladimir Toliq and Dushan Maksimoviq who are in custody, while the Supreme Court has requested a legal opinion on whether the other 42 accused can be tried in absentia or not.
