KFOR concludes the exercises at Gjakova airfield

KFOR has concluded the operational rehearsal exercises (Level II OPREH) at Gjakova airfield, which included crowd and riot control, and freedom of movement activities, as well as security operations. According to KFOR, OPREH level 2 is a routine exercise in support of KFOR mission and takes place every two years in Kosovo. KFOR reports that the exercise involved hundreds of troops from NATO countries (Albania, Bulgaria, Greece, Italy, Romania, Turkey and the United Kingdom) operating alongside KFOR units as part of the KFOR Reserve Operational Force .
