The Director of the Kosovo Accreditation Agency (KAA), Naim Gashi, and senior official Shkelzen Gërxhaliu, held a meeting with the Director of the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA), Anna Gover and the Assessment Manager, Goran Dakovic. A press release states that the topic of this discussion was the KAA application for membership in ENQA. ENQA leaders have praised the work of the KAA in addressing European standards (ESG) for quality assurance in higher education and the implementation of ENQA recommendations from the preliminary evaluation. The leaders of KAA and ENQA agreed that KAA should apply for evaluation by ENQA, to pave the way for registration in the European Register for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (EQAR). KAA will also apply for membership as an "affiliate member" in ENQA.
