Jashari: The process of verifying veterans cannot be done whenever it pleases someone

The KLA War Veterans Association is opposing the reverification process, through the new law. Without the conclusion of the judicial process, Xhavit Jashari emphasizes that no one has the right to create other commissions. Even, as he says, Prime Minister Albin Kurti should not play the role of prosecutor or judge. Jashari claims that there are disagreements with the organizations that emerged from the war, regarding the new law for veterans only, which means reverifying their status.

A year ago, the draft law in principle for the minimum wage of 264 euros gross passed the first reading. Since then, it has remained unapproved in the second reading, due to the demands of veterans for inclusion in this bill. At the same time, protests were also organized by veterans near the building of the Assembly of Kosovo...
