The chairman of the Strike Council of the BSPK, also the chairman of the Teacher’s Union, Rrahman Jasharaj has arrived at the facility of the Government of Kosovo to meet the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti.
Jasharaj was accompanied by the head of the Public Administration Union, Ali Gashi, Nexhat Llumnica and other members.
This meeting is taking place after the invitation that the chief executive made to the Strike Council, which has been on strike since August 25.Since that time, the strikers have continuously requested a meeting with Kurti, which was happening in the third week of the strikes.
The strikers, including education workers, are on strike with the key demands of 100 euros until the entry into force of the Salary Law.
The Strike Council has continuously accused the government of not inviting them to the meeting, while at the weekend Kurti met only the head of the The Union of Independent Trade Unions of Kosova - BSPK, Atdhe Hykolli.This is the third week that the students of Kosovo are not having classes, and this is considered harmful for them. The Council of Parents expressed their disatissfaction with this situation.
