The Ministry of Economy has launched a public call for support for family consumers and micro, small and medium enterprises for investment in renewable energy systems: Photovoltaic (PV) systems for the production of electricity for self-consumption and solar systems for heating of sanitary water financed by the EU.

The Prime Minister of the country, Albin Kurti, said that the purpose of this initiative is to empower families and businesses to make sustainable and affordable solutions.

Kurti added that for these two measures, businesses owned or co-owned by women, over 51% will be subsidized with an additional 200 euros.

Meanwhile, the Minister of Economy, Artane Rizvanolli has said that they are constantly working to help the citizens in terms of electricity.

Rizvanolli said that this measure will also affect the preservation of the environment and the reduction of electricity bills.

Meanwhile, she added that there are 17 local companies that offer services that have been promoted today.

On the other hand, the Minister of Industry, Entrepreneurship and Trade, Rozeta Hajdari, has called on businesses to take advantage of this opportunity that contributes to reducing the cost of energy.

She also said that these measures are aimed at mitigating the energy crisis in the country.
