The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, stated today that in the talks in Brussels with the mediation of the EU, it was repeatedly said that there should be an agreement between Kosovo and Serbia for the draft statute of the association of municipalities with a Serbian majority.

In a press conference, the prime minister spoke about the international pressure for the establishment of the association and about the declarations of the EU Special Representative Miroslav Lajcak that the draft statute of the association is an internal matter of Kosovo.

Regarding the investigations into the terrorist attack of September 24, Prime Minister Kurti said that the information has also been given to the State Prosecutor's Office and it is up to the latter to deal with it, as there is sufficient evidence and material to indict the persons who took part in Banjska attack.

In addition to these, Kurti also spoke about the work being done to secure the borders in order to prevent possible attacks in the future, saying that joint patrolling with KFOR has repelled Serbian plans for attacks.

Meanwhile, the Minister of Internal Affairs, Xhelal Sveçla, spoke about license plates in the north of the country, for which he said that there is no more circulation of vehicles with illegal license plates in Kosovo. He also spoke about the seizure of illegal alarms in the north and any other equipment aimed at illegal activities.
