The interview of Serbian List leader Zlatan Elek, scheduled in connection with his alleged role in the setting up of barricades in the north two years ago, has been postponed once again.

This postponement was made at the request of the defense, and the Prosecution will not question Elek on Thursday, as was initially planned.

This was confirmed to KosovaPress by the spokesperson of the Special Prosecution, Arbnora Luta, who stated that the postponement of the interview was due to Elek’s health-related reasons.

"Mr. Zlatan Elek was summoned for an interview as part of the investigations being conducted by the Special Prosecution of the Republic of Kosovo regarding the setting up of barricades in the northern part in 2022, for the criminal offenses of: obstruction of an official person in the performance of official duties, incitement to resistance, and association for unconstitutional activity. However, the interview of Mr. Elek has been postponed at the request of the defense to another date, due to the health reasons of Mr. Elek’s lawyer," said Luta.
