International Cadet Week starts at "Adem Jashari" Barracks
Starting today (Friday), the "International Cadet Week" will be held at the "Adem Jashari" Barracks, where cadets from Albania, the United States of America, Turkey, North Macedonia, and Canada will also participate.
The purpose of this week is to inform the cadets of different countries who are participating in the military education system that the Kosovo Security Forces (FSK) has been setting up for several years now.
Major Mimoza Budeci, commander of the Center for University Studies at the Defense Academy, said that an opportunity like this to invite different countries and get experience and knowledge from the KSF is an achievement that is highly appreciated and should be followed as an example also from other countries.
United States Space Force cadet Aaron Whitlock has revealed that he is here to expand his skills and learn from each other.
Meanwhile, the fourth-year cadet, Atdhe Ahmeti, added that this is a good opportunity, as he said, to get to know what other cadets do in their academies.
Likewise, the cadet from Turkey, Habibe, said that she feels like she is at home, because things are similar to the school of the Military Forces of Turkey.
In addition to the lectures that they will hold in the classroom, where they will gain knowledge about the military education system, they will participate in joint activities such as rehearsal activities in Pomozotin and hiking, and will get to know our culture. /A. Shala/
