Despite all the problems we have had in Mitrovica, inter-ethnic relations between citizens have not deteriorated.

This was said today in the north of Mitrovica, during the conference on the topic "Inter-ethnic cooperation in Northern Mitrovica", organized by the non-governmental organization "Advocacy Center for Democratic Culture" (ACDC).

The panelists presented the situation from the perspective of their community, as well as the level of cooperation between members of different communities in this municipality.

Aleksandar Rapajic, director of the program within ACDC, presenting the results of the project and the initiatives carried out in the three multi-ethnic settlements in the north of Mitrovica, the 'Bosnian Quarter', the 'Miners' Hill' and the 'Kroi i Vitakut', said that despite the challenges and problems that have occurred during a year in the north of Mitrovica, such a situation has not been allowed to hinder the realization of this project.

According to him, recent developments in that part have not affected the deterioration of inter-ethnic relations between neighbors and citizens in general.
