Indictment against the cashier of the General Hospital in Prizren, misused nearly 5 thousand euros

The Basic Prosecutor's Office in Prizren has filed an indictment against the defendant F.G., from Prizren, due to the well-founded suspicion that she committed the criminal offense of "Abuse of duty".

According to the indictment, the defendant, as an official person, with the purpose of illegally benefiting from material benefit for herself, misused the property entrusted to her due to her duty or position, in such a way that in the capacity of Financial Officer and Treasurer, in "Dr Daut Mustafa" General Hospital, in Prizren, from the time period 28.06.2022 until 12.08.2022 from the wards of Ophthalmology, Dialysis and Emergency, in the cash register has collected money in the amount of 36,143.38 euros, whereas in the accounting of the Hospital has deposited only 31,385.00 euros and thus has misused the amount of 4,758.38 euros and for the same amount has caused financial damage to the General Hospital "Dr. Daut Mustafa", in Prizren.

According to a communique, the Prosecutor of the case when the indictment was filed proposed to the Court that after holding the judicial review, administering the evidence and evaluating it, the above-mentioned defendant for the criminal offense for which she is accused to be declared guilty and sentenced according to the law.
