In the absence of votes, the draft law on the register of beneficial owners has failed to pass in the Committee on Economy, Industry, Entrepreneurship and Trade, where Minister Rozeta Hajdari is reporting.
According to Hajdari, the approval of this draft law would enable the regulation of a very important field in a single legal instrument.
LDK MP, Valentina Bunjaku, said that this government, trying to control everything, is contradicting the laws.
Minister Hajdari opposed this. According to her, this government is working with the principles of transparency and accountability.
Meanwhile, MP Bunjaku responded by saying that for transparency she can participate in the investigative commission from 1:00 p.m., adding that minister Hajdari is trying to avoid the topic.
This commission is expected to review the draft resolution for the ERO annual report for 2022, where Minister Rozeta Hajdari will report on the level of implementation of the Law on Foreign Trade.
