It is the plastic surgery operations, respectively the part of aesthetics, which still can not be performed in the University Clinical Center of Kosovo, because there is a lack of a second room where these interventions could be performed. The only solution for citizens who want to make aesthetic interventions, are private hospitals. Plastic surgery still remains the only center in UCCK, where all other plastic and reconstructive surgery services are performed, in which the number of patients is always increasing. And because of the large number, there is a two month waiting list. Liridona Guci, a plastic surgeon at UCCK, told KosovaPress that in the hospital, all plastic and reconstructive surgery services are performed, except the aesthetics operations, due to the lack of an operating room.
