Not even the salary increase seems to be stopping the exodus of doctors from the public sector to the private sector, or to hospitals outside Kosovo. In less than 2 months, 36 specialists left the Hospital and University Clinical Service of Kosovo.

This is what the president of the Chamber of Doctors of Kosovo, Pleurat Sejdiu, said in an interview for KosovaPress, who emphasized that these figures are alarming for a great possibility of doctors leaving public health institutions.
