The member of the presidency of the Democratic League of Kosovo, Ekrem Hyseni, has said that Kosovo is facing a new pandemic, that of the incompetence of the Ministry of Health. He said that this government is giving the health professionals, alms.
In a press conference, Hyseni said that the capital investments in the health field by the executive have been realized only five percent, while he added that the flight of health professionals from the country is also a problem.
Hyseni said that there are only 48 anesthesiologists in the entire UCCK. According to him, if the exodus of professionals continues at this rate, those who remain will be overburdened.He also compared the waiting lists during the period of 2020 with this year, until he said that the waiting list at the time of this government is very long.
Hyseni has also accused the Government of a lack of essential medicines. He said that with this government, the budget has been reduced by around 60 million euros.
