The Director of the Kosovo Police, Gazmend Hoxha, stated that the danger is active, while Radoicic's group continues to stay at the border of Kosovo. According to him, the police has raised its capacities to face any attempt to destabilize the country. He said that they have noticed movements of Serbian forces on the border of the country, for which he added that they have also monitored them in cooperation with KFOR and EULEX. This is how he expressed himself after more than three hours of the Security Affairs Committee meeting, where he told the media that in the closed part of the meeting they discussed the security situation in the north of the country.

He emphasized that with the members of this commission they discussed the work of the police and the achievement of the mission of the security of citizens at the borders of the country.

He did not comment on the statements of Prime Minister Albin Kurti, but added that there were movements of Serbian forces near the Kosovo border.

In yesterday's meeting between the Minister of Internal Affairs, Xhelal Sveçla, and the Kosovo Police Union, Hoxha said that they discussed addressing 14 requests. The Police Director said that they are working to improve the conditions, including the uniform, food and transportation.

He also spoke about the new Law on Traffic Rules, for which he said that traffic safety is one of the priorities of the Kosovo Police.
