The Ambassador of the United States in Kosovo, Jeffrey Hovenier, said that the dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia is a challenge for which the two countries must commit and push the agenda forward.

Hovenier added that the conclusion of this process should be mutual recognition between the two countries.

Hovenier made these statements during "The Western Balkans 2024" summit, where, according to him, the aim is to support and include the countries of the Western Balkans in European structures.

Hovenier also mentioned the importance of the full implementation of the agreements reached by Kosovo and Serbia.

The Prime Minister, Albin Kurti, mentioned during this summit that Kosovo does not have problems with the local Serbs, but with official Belgrade, which according to him has not distanced itself from the regime of Milosevic and Putin.
