The incumbent Prime Minister of Kosovo, Avdullah Hoti received today in a meeting the representatives of the Trade Union Federation of Pensioners, Invalids and the Elderly of Kosovo, led by Sylejman Meta. They expressed great dissatisfaction with the situation of pensioners and asked the Government to increase pensions. Hoti informed that the Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare has started work on the review of social schemes, a project which has also been agreed with the IMF, but it should be waited until creation of the new Government, to finalize this project. Hoti stressed that, based on this project, Kosovo will have a code that will regulate all pension schemes.
