The incumbent Prime Minister of Kosovo, Avdullah Hoti received today in a meeting the General Director of Kosovo Police, Samedin Mehmeti and the Chief Executive Officer of the Kosovo Police Inspectorate Kushtrim Hodaj. Hoti demanded from Mehmeti and Hodaj that they immediately take all necessary measures against any police officer who abuses the position, emphasizing that these behaviors are unacceptable. Hoti asked the Police Inspectorate to handle with great dedication all the complaints of citizens, to be persistent and uncompromising in respecting the ethics and professional conduct of the police. He further stressed that isolated cases should not be allowed to damage the image of the Kosovo Police, the most trusted institution by citizens for years.
