The Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo, Avdullah Hoti, has requested that the works on R108 road be suspended, which, affects a part of the special protective zone of the Deçan monastery.

The government statement states that Prime Minister Hoti, appreciates the vital importance of this road for the citizens of this area and beyond, however, the legislation in force adopted by the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo and the decision of the Constitutional Court of Kosovo, must be respected.
