Hoffenheim managing director Andreas Schicker has confirmed that the German club is in talks with several teams regarding the future of striker Fisnik Asllani, who has attracted interest from some of Europe's biggest clubs.

Schicker acknowledged that negotiations are ongoing and stressed that it is no secret the 23-year-old has a release clause in his contract.

“The situation is that there are talks with clubs both in Germany and abroad. It is also no secret that Asllani has a release clause,” he told Kicker.

According to reports, Barcelona remain one of the clubs most interested in the striker, having monitored him for months, and could intensify their pursuit if changes occur in their attacking department. Premier League clubs such as Chelsea and Tottenham are also in the race for his signature, while Borussia Dortmund have likewise expressed interest.

Asllani is coming off a successful season with Hoffenheim, scoring 10 goals and providing nine assists in 33 appearances, establishing himself as one of the team's standout performers.

Although his contract with Hoffenheim runs until 2029, it includes a release clause reportedly worth just under €30 million. The fee is considered affordable for the interested clubs, making the striker's potential transfer one of the stories expected to develop during the summer transfer window.
