More than 17,000 residential units in which measuring devices are installed on radiators will be billed for their real costs. As for other housing units, where measuring devices have not been installed yet, billing will continue to be done according to square meters for this season as well.

This was announced by the chief executive officer of the heating plant of the city of Prishtina "Termokos" Fisnik Osmani in an interview for KosovaPress. He said that all preparations have been made to start the heating season on October 15.

Osmani talks about the impossibility of connecting “White Apartments” to the heating system this year, and about the citizens' debt to this public enterprise.

Although it was planned that the “White Apartments” will be connected to the heating system this season, due to some reasons the process of allocating funds from the Municipality of Prishtina for intervention in this part has been complicated.

Osmani says that "Termokos" with its own means plans to connect these 29 residential buildings to the heating system, but it is not possible until next year.

The chief executive at Termokos, Fisnik Osmani, says that everything is ready to start the heating season on October 15.

According to him, this year, the supply from the heating plant will include about three million square meters in Prishtina, in the business and residential sectors. He also mentions that there will be over 30,000 housing units that will receive this service.

Among other things, Osmani points out that this year he is satisfied with the payment of bills, for which he says that over 90 percent of citizens are paying their bills.

In addition to these, the aim of the Termokos heating plant is to connect the "44-storey" neighborhood to the heating system. /Z. Zeneli/
