A hearing was held today at the Prishtina Basic Court against the singer Besart Kelmendi, known as Gjesti.

The session was held behind closed doors, and the request from the Prishtina Basic Prosecution was to impose a one-month pre-trial detention, KosovaPress reports.

On Thursday, the Prishtina Basic Prosecution submitted a request to the Prishtina Basic Court for the singer’s pre-trial detention.

The well-known singer Gjesti was arrested on Wednesday and is suspected of the criminal offenses of “illegal possession of weapons,” “threats,” and “property damage.”
