Health professionals issue an ultimatum to the Government to proceed with the Wages Act

The Trade Union Health Federation of Kosovo (TUHFK) protested on Monday in front of the building of the Government of Kosovo. The health professionals from the executive are requesting the proceeding within this year of the Law on Wages and implementation from January 2022, otherwise they warn of an impediment in the health system. The health professionals who took part in this protest symbolically left their coats and clogs in front of the Government of Kosovo. The Chairman of the Trade Union Health Federation of Kosovo, Blerim Syla has raised suspicions that the Government is secretly working on the Law on Wages without inviting trade unions and civil society.
