Heads of state praise the work of the Kosovo Police on the 23rd anniversary of its establishment
In marking the 23rd anniversary of the foundation of the Kosovo Police, the heads of state considered this security institution as a success story for the country, while they asked the police officials to be at the top of their duties.
In the ceremony marking the 23rd anniversary
of the establishment of the Kosovo Police, all the policemen who lost their
life in the line of duty were also commemorated. And this ceremony started with
the parade of the Kosovo Police Guard.
The President of the Republic of Kosovo,
Vjosa Osmani said that the Kosovo Police is not only one of the most important
links of the state, but is also a success story for the country.
While recalling all the policemen who lost
their life on duty, the head of state said that the members of the Kosovo
Police have protected and supervised the borders of Kosovo.
She also emphasized the need for membership
in Interpol.
