The Mayor of Gjilan, Lutfi Haziri, said that 936 active cases in Gjilan are a state of alarm for all institutions and not only for the local level, because it is the largest number in Gjilan since the beginning of the pandemic, and the figures warn that there must be an institutional commitment towards Covid-19.

"We have a “black” record in Gjilan, and the Emergency Committee is constantly working, 7 days a week, in monitoring the situation, implementing tasks for prevention, to health services provided to infected citizens, at their home by medical teams. Such a large number of infected is related to the large number of compatriots who are also this week in Gjilan, but the actions of the state should be tougher, but with maximum reasonableness to protect the citizen through measures", said Haziri.
