Haxhiu: We addressed the findings of the Constitutional Court about the Bureau

The Minister of Justice, Albulena Haxhiu stated that they have made changes to the Law on the Bureau for the Verification and Confiscation of Unjustified Assets. According to her, they urgently addressed the findings of the Constitutional Court on the Law on the State Bureau for Verification and Confiscation of Unjustifiable Assets. At the press conference, she called on political parties to support this law.

Minister Albulena Haxhiu pledged that they are committed to guarantee the reform in justice.

At the press conference, Haxhiu said that they have not drafted a new draft law but have addressed four issues of the Constitutional Court.

With the changes made, Haxhiu added that they included the concept of objective impossibility as a key procedural element. In addition to this issue, Minister Haxhiu said that they have also addressed the clarity of the time period for the verification of assets.

Also, she said that the version with the changes has reconstructed the supervisory commission.

Furthermore, Haxhiu asked for unification for the adoption of this law, for which she emphasized that it is one of the most important laws aimed at fighting corruption and organized crime. Likewise, the Minister of Justice asked for the support of the parliamentary groups to support this law. /Sh. Pajaziti
