Hasani on the certification or not of Kurti: The Supreme Court should not be based on the decision of the Constitutional Court
Former President of the Supreme Court, Fejzullah Hasani, says that the Supreme Court should be based on the Constitution of the country and not on the judgment of the Constitutional Court, regarding the certification or not as a candidate for MP of Albin Kurti and others. In an interview for KosovaPress, Hasani said that the Supreme Court should look at the old criminal code that does not recognize the legal consequences of the former prime minister's criminal offense. However, he is pessimistic that his former colleagues will make such a decision.
Two days after receiving the appeals from the Supreme Court, Hasani says that the possibilities are for the latter to interpret the appeal of VV and others in the spirit of the decision of the Constitutional Court.
