The director of the Office for the Protection of Victims within the State Prosecutor's Office, Demë Hasanaj, has admitted that there are cases when the interviewing of victims is postponed in the absence of psychologists. In a written statement for KosovaPress, he said that in some cases they must wait for the psychologists for the interview.

In the case reported in June of the 11-year-old girl from Prishtina, who was allegedly sexually assaulted, for more than two weeks, the minor was not interviewed by the prosecutor of the case.

Demë Hasanaj, claims that there are such cases and this is happening because of the lack of psychologists.
