The German Foundation, Konrad Adenauer (KAS), Office in Kosovo, has today organized an open discussion on the topic: "Policies and actions against sexual harassment and violence in Kosovo. What should be done?”

At this roundtable, representatives of international and local organizations concluded that it is necessary to have a reactivation on a practically proactive approach in this direction. The existence of cases of unpunished recidivism is extremely worrying, as are the actions undertaken in general in the pre-penal phase. The delays stemming from the many cases in the treatment of these cases are serving as a disincentive for the victims to report these crimes, as if they are serving for a kind of amnesty that is being given to the perpetrators of these crimes.

Representatives of the LDK Women's Forum, Jehona Lushaku and Doarsa Kica-Xhelili, said that LDK will propose a resolution against sexual violence in the Assembly of Kosovo, where the duties of the institutions of Kosovo, the government and the judiciary, will be clearly defined to prevent this phenomenon...
