The chairman of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj, has paid tribute at the Memorial Complex in Meja Gjakova.

On the anniversary of the massacre where 377 innocent people were killed, Haradinaj said that young and old sacrificed themselves for freedom.

"Today we humbly honor the memorial for Meja, where the bodies and souls of innocent Albanians rest. All these were killed without reason and without any right, civilians were separated from their families. A part of their bodies were taken in Serbia, and even today there are still missing people. This is the biggest tragedy, the biggest massacre in Kosovo. There are 377 killed, victims of all ages, of both genders, and of two faiths," he said.
