Halil Berisha completes his testimony in The Hague, the former WVA-KLA leaders remain in custody
The former leaders of the KLA War Veterans Association, Hysni Gucati and Nasim Haradinaj, were remanded in custody until a decision was made upon receipt of the information they had requested from the Kosovo Police, so decided the trial panel chaired by Judge Charles L Smith III. The court hearing against them continued today in the Specialist Chambers in The Hague, with the testimony of former journalist Halil Berisha, who responded about the reports he made at the time when the WVA-KLA had made public the documents which were allegedly leaked from the Special Court.
Halil Berisha, who since the beginning of his appearance in The Hague has stated that he was forced to go to testify in this trial and does not feel happy about such a thing, said that he and other fellow editors in the newspaper Infokusi have decided not to distribute the documents he had received from the leaders of the WVA-KLA...
