Kosovo has failed to make any significant progress in the Progress Report for 2024, say the Group for Legal and Political Studies (GLPS). Two days after the publication of the report for the country by the European Commission, in GLPS, they said that based on the findings, it can be seen that Kosovo has made progress in only two chapters and a total of four areas.

GLPS researcher, Dea Fetiu, in a press conference on Friday, said that Kosovo has made progress in chapter 24, which deals with justice, freedom and security, as well as chapter 19, which talks about social policies and employment.

She also mentioned the Law on public officials, which according to her is contrary to the principles of SIGM and degrades the functioning of the service.

In addition to these, she added the need for the implementation of the Brussels Basic Agreement and the Ohrid annex, for the normalization of relations between Kosovo and Serbia. /KosovaPress/
