Despite the increase in grants and subsidies in the last ten years for all crops, production and arable land have not increased.

In two separate reports, the GAP Institute for Advanced Study has analyzed how grants and subsidies have affected agricultural production, although, these two studies show that despite the programs and amounts allocated, where about 48 million euros each year are allocated for grants and subsidies, the expected results have not been achieved.
