At the Batllava Lake, citizens of the country, starting today until Sunday, August 10, will be able to enjoy the Kayak Fest.

The festival will include various activities, including those for children, where participants will also have access to a food court and lounge area.

Fiona Xhema Troshupa from the Kayak Festival told KosovaPress that in its second edition, more visitors are expected.

“This is the second edition being held, roughly at the same time as last year. This year, we expect many more people; there are more activities and engagements, so everyone will be able to find something for themselves. From the beginning and since the first edition, we have said that Kayak Fest is a festival suitable for all ages, from the youngest to the oldest. There will be something for everyone, but the main focus will be activities for children. There will be kayaking, various competitions, water games, and exercises,” said Troshupa.

She also stated that the greatest interest comes from foreign nationals in the camping area.

“This year in particular, we have noticed the interest of foreign nationals who are coming to the camping area, where there is also the possibility to stay in tents. These are almost all reserved due to prior bookings, but there is still the option for those with their own camping gear to come, so that area has also started to fill up,” she said.

In addition to activities, participants will be able to relax at night with music and DJs.

“The stage is also set up for live music. Last year, we only had DJs, but this year there will be three consecutive nights of live performances starting tonight. In the evenings, from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM, there will be the live music segment,” she added.

The entrance fee for adults for the three-day Kayak Fest is €15, while for children it is free, either at the entrance or online.
