2021 is an electoral year in Kosovo. The February 14th snap elections will be followed by local ones in late autumn. However, the issue of the president can complicate the situation. The political experts, but also the parties themselves, do not rule out the possibility of holding another election during the summer, if they fail to elect the head of the state.

However, from an economic point of view, the announcement of new elections immediately after those of February 14, if they fail to elect the president, is being considered dangerous and destructive for Kosovo.
