The French Ambassador to Kosovo, Oliver Guerot, declined to comment on the statements of Vetëvendosje Movement deputy Adnan Rrustemi, who today called on several ambassadors not to interfere in the work of the Constitutional Court through visits, meetings, or other forms of influence.

Through a Facebook post, Rrustemi emphasized that any possible interference in the highest institution for interpreting the Constitution would seriously damage its independence.

Regarding this, Guerot said that even his lack of comment is a form of comment.

"I don't have any comment, thank you, and not having a comment is a comment", Guerot said.

When asked about the current political situation in the country, Guerot also said that he has met with some party representatives, but according to him, these parties need to resolve this issue themselves.

"No, I don't want to speculate, I'm meeting all the stakeholders, I've met some of them, I will meet others, but Kosovo is a sovereign country, so it's for the Kosovo political parties to solve these issues", Guerot added.

Through a Facebook post, Rrustemi stressed that any possible interference in the highest institution for interpreting the Constitution would seriously undermine its independence.

“I ask several ambassadors not to destroy the Constitutional Court with visits, meetings, and interference, because the damage to our country would be irreparable,” Rrustemi wrote.

The Constitutional Court has imposed a measure regarding the President’s decree until March 31.
