All citizens heading to the capital today will be able to travel on Urban Traffic buses free of charge.
This decision was made by the Municipality of Pristina in support of the march “Justice, Not Politics” and the celebration of the 18th anniversary of Kosovo’s Independence.
“Today public transport in the capital is free, in support of the march ‘Justice, Not Politics.’ Pristina welcomes you!” Rama wrote on Facebook.
Under the motto “Justice, Not Politics,” a march in support of the leaders of the Kosovo Liberation Army, who are on trial in The Hague, will take place today in Pristina at 14:00 at Skënderbeu Square.Tomorrow, at the Specialist Chambers of Kosovo, the statements of Hashim Thaçi, Kadri Veseli, Rexhep Selimi, and Jakup Krasniqi will continue.
The KLA four will each have 20 minutes to speak for this entire trial.
They stated that there is no evidence supporting the claims of the Specialist Prosecutor’s Office regarding war crimes.
The trial against them began on April 3, 2023, nearly three years after the indictment was confirmed. The former KLA leaders have been held at the detention center in The Hague since the end of 2020. /KosovaPress/
